California's Future Postcard
What is California’s Future? Will California survive a plaguing drought, devastating climate change and unsustainable farming practices threatening our food and water supplies? Can California lead the way to a sustainable future for all? This exhibition will explore the issue of environmental sustainability in our current crisis and will coincide with Earth Day 2016. In addition to the exhibition, LAPS will present an all ages printmaking workshop especially for the Earth Day 2016 celebration in participation with the Center for the Arts Eagle Rock.Juried by Amir Fallah:Amir H. Fallah is an artist living and working in Los Angeles, CA. Amir received his B.F.A. from The Maryland Institute College of Art and his M.F.A from UCLA in 2005. He has exhibited both nationally and internationally. The Los Angeles Printmaking Society invites its members to submit up to 3 original prints in any medium on themes that explore the environment and sustainability. The exhibition will be juried by renowned local artist Amir H.
